Chamonix Summer 2011: lots of fun and the UTMB is coming.....

The summer finally arrived in Chamonix and in the Alps.... after this last Sunday, temperatures are very warm and the weather has been great.

Lots of trainning sessions and a few competitions are on the way.... all these with one single objective, prepare the UTMB 2011.

 

Competitions Summer Season 2011:

- 17 Jul: Tour Mont Blanc, Road bike

- 30 Jul: 6000D, Trail

- 14 Aug: Sierre Zinal, Trail

- 26 Aug: UTMB, Trail

 

   

 

For the moment, I have been doing all my trainning on my road bike and some short sessions of trail running. The sensations to be back trainning and enjoying the mountains are great!!!!! The smile is back on my face!!!!

 

This last weekend we had the Mont Blanc Marathon in Chamonix. I didn't run because I had a very important task.... be a part of the 'Mimi's Fan Club' :-) What an amazing race!!!!! She runned 10km and she finished like she could run 10 more!!!! Go Go Go Mimi!!!!
